LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ, July 30, 2026 (EZ Newswire) -- Andreozzi + Foote has filed a civil lawsuit (MER-L-001816-26, Superior Court of New Jersey, Mercer County) on behalf of 31 women against former obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Bruce R. Pierce and Delaware Valley OBGYN and Infertility Group, P.C. The complaint alleges misconduct during medical examinations provided to patients while Pierce practiced at the Lawrence Township medical practice.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that Dr. Pierce engaged in inappropriate conduct during patient examinations over a period of years. The complaint also asserts claims against Delaware Valley OBGYN, alleging that the practice failed to take reasonable steps to protect patients.
According to the complaint, Pierce practiced at Delaware Valley OBGYN from the 1990s until the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners suspended his medical license in 2024. The complaint references the Board's disciplinary action as part of the allegations supporting the plaintiffs' claims.
The lawsuit includes 13 causes of action, including claims for corporate negligence, medical malpractice, assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy, and violations of the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination.
The lawsuit remains pending, and the allegations contained in the complaint have not been adjudicated by the court.
